American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES)
To nurture building of community by bridging science and technology with traditional native values. Through its educational programs, AISES provides opportunities for American Indians and Alaska Natives to pursue studies in science, engineering, business and other academic arenas. The trained professionals then become technologically informed leaders within the Indian community. AISES’ ultimate goal is to be a catalyst for the advancement of American Indians as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined members of society.

Orianna Dennison Ya’at’eeh! My name is Orianna Dennison. I am of the Dine tribe from Tohatchi, New Mexico; however, I grew up in Elko, Nevada. I have lived there my whole life but every chance my family got, we traveled back home. I am currently a freshman at the University of Utah studying to become a nurse with a specialty in anesthesiology. I love doing anything outdoors from hiking, camping, snowboarding, and most of all playing a game of soccer. I enjoy music, movies, hanging out with friends, and spending time with my family. AISES welcomes all new members and we hope to see you at our next meeting.
